Recova Sizing Guide
Find your perfect Recova fit.
Sizing guides for Recova post surgery bras and compression garments. Bras use a simple cup rule; garments are sized by waist measurement. If you are unsure, we are here to help.
Recova by Voe is a post surgery brand known for its high quality compression garments and comfortable, well-engineered bras. Their sizing is straightforward bras follow a simple cup-based rule rather than a full size chart, and compression garments are sized by waist measurement. Both are covered in full below.
If you are between sizes on any Recova garment, always size up. Comfort during recovery is the priority, and a slightly looser garment is far preferable to one that is too tight against healing skin.
Post Surgery Bras
Recova Bra Sizing
Recova post surgery bras follow a simple sizing rule based on your current cup size. Rather than a full chart, you simply apply the rule below based on whether you are a B, C or D cup, or a DD cup and above.
This makes ordering straightforward — you need to know your usual high street bra size and nothing more.
If you are a B, C or D cup, order your regular underband size. For example, if you usually wear a 34B, 34C or 34D, order a 34 Medium.
If you are a DD cup or above, go up one band size for a more comfortable fit. For example, if you usually wear a 34DD or larger, order a 36 Large.
Still unsure? Contact us before ordering and we will advise on the right size for you. Getting the fit right at the start avoids the need for returns during your recovery.
Compression Garments
Recova Compression Garment Sizing
Recova compression garments — including girdles, shorts and fajas — are sized by waist measurement. Measure the widest part of your waist, typically around 2 inches below your belly button, and match your measurement to the chart.
If your measurement falls between two sizes on the chart, always select the larger size for post surgery wear.
Use a soft tape measure around the widest part of your waist, approximately 2 inches below your belly button. Keep the tape level and snug but not pulled tight.
For garments covering the hips and thighs, also measure the widest part of your hips — approximately 7 inches below your belly button — and use whichever measurement is larger to select your size.
A garment that is slightly looser is always more comfortable post surgery than one that is too tight. When in doubt, go up a size.
Choosing the Right Garment
Designed for your recovery, not just your size.
Once you have your measurements, the right Recova garment depends on your procedure and which areas need support. Recova make garments for a wide range of post surgery needs — from abdominal compression after tummy tuck and liposuction to full body suits for more extensive procedures.
Tummy Tuck & Abdominoplasty — A high waist girdle or abdominal binder with side or front fastening. Adjustable fastenings allow for swelling reduction over the first weeks.
Liposuction — Compression shorts or a girdle with legs depending on the treatment area. Coverage should extend 2 inches beyond the treated area in all directions.
C Section & Postpartum — A comfortable abdominal binder or high waist brief providing gentle support to the lower abdomen without excessive compression in the early weeks.
Not sure which garment? Contact us and we will advise based on your specific procedure and stage of recovery.
