Lipoelastic Sizing Guide

Find your perfect Lipoelastic fit.

Sizing charts for Lipoelastic post surgery bras and compression garments. Measurements are in centimetres. If you are unsure, our specialists are here to help.

Lipoelastic is a Czech medical brand widely recommended by surgeons across the UK and Europe. Their garments are known for their precision compression, high quality fabrics and extensive size range. Unlike some brands, Lipoelastic sizes in centimetres rather than UK dress sizes, so it is important to take accurate measurements before ordering.

Important

Lipoelastic sizing charts use centimetres. If you usually measure in inches, multiply your inch measurement by 2.54 to convert. If you are between sizes, always select the larger size for post surgery wear.

Post Surgery Bras

Lipoelastic Bra Sizing

Most Lipoelastic post surgery bras feature heat moulded cups that expand to accommodate your new cup size throughout recovery. This means you size by your underbust measurement in centimetres rather than your traditional bra cup size.

Measure directly under your bust with a soft tape measure, keeping it level all the way around. Refer to the chart to find your size, and use the mannequin measurement guide image for reference on where exactly to measure.

Compression & Comfort

Your post surgery bra should be firm enough to provide effective compression but should not restrict your breathing or cause pain. If you feel any discomfort, contact us for advice before wearing for extended periods.

The heat moulded cups mean you do not need to account for cup size — the cup will mould to your shape as you heal.

Compression Garments & Leggings

Lipoelastic Compression Garment Sizing

Lipoelastic compression garments — including leggings, shorts and body suits — are sized using waist and hip measurements in centimetres. Take both measurements and refer to the chart, using the larger of the two to determine your size.

Refer to the mannequin measurement guide for exactly where to place your tape measure for each measurement point.

1
Measure your waist

The widest part of your waist in centimetres, approximately 5cm below your belly button. Keep the tape level and snug but not tight.

2
Measure your hips

The widest part of your hips in centimetres, approximately 18cm below your belly button. Stand with feet together.

3
Use the larger measurement

Match the larger of your two measurements against the chart. If between sizes, always go up.

Abdominal Binders

Lipoelastic Abdominal Binder Sizing

Lipoelastic abdominal binders are sized by waist measurement. Measure the widest part of your waist — typically around 2 inches (5cm) below your belly button — with a soft tape measure kept level around the body.

As with all Lipoelastic garments, measurements are taken in centimetres. If you are between sizes on the chart, select the larger size.

1
Measure your waist

Use a soft tape measure around the widest part of your waist, approximately 5cm below your navel. Keep the tape level all the way around.

2
Measure in centimetres

Lipoelastic sizing is in cm. If your tape shows inches, multiply by 2.54 to convert.

3
If between sizes, size up

A slightly looser fit is always preferable to one that is too tight during post surgery recovery.
