I had wanted a breast lift for many years but things always came up with my family requiring money such as university and weddings.
By the time I actually got the chance and could afford the surgery I needed my stomach dealing with. This the surgeon told me was because of factors throughout my life such as weight loss, weight gain, the menopause and obviously age!
I had no pain from my surgery, just back ache initially from being bent over.
The support garments were great and still are but I wish I'd known how tight the girdle should be. I ended up buying an expander. Also I felt the girdle could have been shorter, mine overlapped with the bra which you don't want plus it caused a blister.
The paramount thing to my recovery was having a course of Lymphatic drainage and I took a product before and after surgery called Skinade.

What I Wish I'd Known Beforehand
