Their Story

Finding the right surgeon was crucial to me. I started with Google research, then spent time looking into patient reviews, checking their social media presence, and verifying their credentials. The due diligence was worth it.

What really helped during recovery was finding online communities where people were going through similar experiences. There's a site called RealSelf that became invaluable. Having a space where I could connect with others who understood exactly what I was going through made such a difference.

I wish I'd found these support communities even earlier in the process. They would have helped me prepare better mentally and emotionally for the journey.

What Helped More Than Expected

Finding RealSelf and connecting with people going through the same issues I did. Having that community support during recovery was invaluable. I wish I'd found it a bit earlier in my journey.

What I Wish I'd Known Beforehand

Get proper advice about implant sizes early on. Be prepared for things no one talks about like back pains, bloating, and skin dehydration. These are normal parts of recovery that I wasn't expecting.
